A Brief Bio

Abby has experience working and volunteering for many humanities-focused organizations, including the National Park Service, Blackstone Heritage Corridor, and the Museum of Work & Culture. She enjoys turning complex ideas into clear and engaging stories that connect with many different audiences.

A Problem to Be Solved

Abby has loved humanities organizations throughout her life, including museums, national parks, theater, and live music. These organizations help people understand the past, feel connected to their communities, and explore ideas from cultures around the world. Unfortunately, many have digital spaces that are difficult for visitors to navigate and for staff to update. No plans for improvement are in place. Budgets are limited. Staffs are small and untrained in web design or digital tools. Volunteer support is temporary or inconsistent. Digital spaces are neglected despite the importance of these spaces when reaching out to the public.
